Dear Mr. Golden & Mr. Levin,
May This correspondence find you both in the up most of mental, physical and emotional health.
I am writing this letter that you may be informed and kept updated of the incidents related to: HUD Case No. 02-09-1047-8.
This matter concerns Discrimination against I , my daughter and our family.
At this time I am disabled , single mother, parent and grandmother with physical custody of my grandchildren. My health and my days are becoming unlivable. I am presently suffering with a Chronic pain condition which leaves unable to physically care for myself . Due to my personal maladies and states of depression at age 44 . I feel hopeless, and enraged after suffering through two cranial surgeries, back surgery, fibramyalgia which keeps me constantly debilitated, with this said Life from day to day is very difficult.
During July 2008 I and my children lost our home due to fire. Then a second fire occurred in May of 2009. Prior to the fire Discriminatory practices by The City of Peekskill, City officials , Neighborhood Watch, and police officials was and continues to be a on going. Let me explain discrimination for this word or rather act can mean many things, I hope that you have a clear comprehension of what it feels like. Life is difficult enough without outside influences.
These influences creates and makes the situation called Life much, much more difficult for the act of discrimination feels inhumane with mental , emotional and physical turmoil .The officials, Neighborhood watch, etc. have done everything inhumanely possible in there acts of discrimination, which consist of bias, harassment, falsifying information, entering property without notice or appointment, death threats, etc. This behavior and violation of Civil Rights and abuses of the basic Constitution is irreparable. These actions and practices of Discrimination clearly warrant investigation by an outside agency. This abuse of power requires review, ASAP.
As for my inability to do nothing as I witness un warranted violations, behavior which is cruel inhumane and harassment. These practices which wear on my physical health and sense of well being. Adding insult to injury the insurance company, liberty mutual has not begun to secure shelter for I and my family since may of 2009 to present. More so this added situation makes this situation beyond challenging because of health Issues. Not knowing where we will sleep from day to night , monetary issues, never mind us staying together as a family, I have had to split the family up in hopes of securing shelter every night due to limited to no fiances. Furthermore, I have had to surrender care and custody of my 10 year old grandson whom I have raised since his birth. My grandson has severe emotional issues which he has been in intense therapy for, this present on going situation added to his sense of wellbeing, therefore, it has been in his best interest that he not be subjected too living in the present predicament , therefore, I had no choice but to place him in what I hope and pray is the betterment for him right now. I am as best I can seeking to convey a unbearable, in sufferage , state of affairs. How do I tell you due to pain I am unable to sleep at night, Typing this letter hurts to the point of tears, and hopelessness, but I must push forward conveying I need help. Hopefully, you don’t know what its like to have a emergency, of being placed in the street with children and having no where to go. I have contacted many for help to no avail. Suffering in silence with out a voice. I am tired. No one should have to bear this torcher because of the color of their skin, nor because another person abuses their power. I have children , I am raising my grandchildren. I am in need of help…The incidents leading up to these fires require investigation. The officials of this community require investigation.. The practices by these officials actually go back a few years ago , but seem to have escalated. As I filed a Civil Suit Pro Se against The City of Peekskill, et, atl. With the United states District court for the southern District.( Kelly , Washington v. City of Peekskill, et, al. This case was never tried or reviewed on the merits of the case, but based on Political allies. I have filed Discrimination complaints with the NYS Division of Human Rights, these cases have never been investigated, but dismissed with the stroke of a pen by the Regional Director on every case, even after I was notified by the investigator that the cases I (we) filed had merit and proof of Discrimination. I received a letter contrary to what the investigator stated he found in his investigation. When will these practices cease and a serious inquiry made? I am notifying you in addition to forwarding E mails I have recently attained… These people are relentless in the pursue of practicing Bias and Discriminatory acts. I have received death threats, notified the governors office, FBI, (via, phone, letters and e mails). and still these practices have gone uninvestigated. ~~~~The Neighborhood watch organizer threatened a Bon Fire on another property . These property owners have filed Suit against the City, instead of the fire occurring at the other property down the street. A fire occurred at our property. ~~~After the fire of May 2009. The red cross was contacted by the City official ( Pizzella) who informed The Red Cross, “ We (our family) are not in need of services. The red cross was contacted and informed the information given by the City official (Pizzella, Victor) was in correct and our family was in need of help. I was informed because misinformation was submitted to Red Cross the Red Cross could not offer us services. Upon reviewing the documents and e mails I have submitted it shall be verified city officials have repeatedly, submitted erroneous code violations which do not and did not exist. This has been a great effort to move us out of the home and neighborhood. I am presently in contact with another family who are Hispanic, Black residents who are presently being subjected to Discriminatory practices by Neighborhood watch, these people are using Neighborhood Watch and the Police Department as a guise practicing Discrimination. Again, I ask when will this cease? We have a right to live and enjoy peace and well being without outside influences trampling on and in our lives.
Please Note: In the Email it is stated that Mr. Pizzella is sending a Violation Notice. Again, abuse of power. The Property at 434 Simpson Place, Peekskill NY 10566 is not in violation of Ordinances. This is the continued harassment tactic. Secondly, I have a person maintaining the property and making sure it remains free of disturbance and Violations, the mater of the police department abusing their authority due to trespassing on the property, and more so tampering with locks is outside their preview of duties. The locks placed on the entries are secure. One has to physically enter the property and open a glass door to confirm whether a door or lock is secure.
The additional e mails, (attached) Mr. Pizzella is attempting to enter the property with the inspector , This is the same inspector we where summoned to pay off before the home could be deemed livable by the City.
In closing after the fire the house was locked up and secured. The keys had to be picked up from Mr. Pizzella at City Hall. At this time I am seeking to have these practices and actions ceased as this case is under review, requiring an in depth investigation.

Due to my health and inability to move about, I am unable to pick up my mail regularly. This situation will cause a delay in receiving and addressing your correspondences. Therefore, I may be reached at 914 382 9013. Please note : There is much more that has occurred, I have reams of documentation, E mails supporting the discrimination and retaliation. The e mails I have and have submitted have been legally obtained or received. I greatly appreciate your time reviewing this on going case. I am willing to bring the documents verifying every incident… and statement.
